Sisterhood of the World Tag

February 25, 2015

I have been tagged THRICE by now to answer a total of THIRTY questions for the Sisterhood of the World Tag and before I end up collecting any more, I better answer! πŸ˜‰

The first person to tag me was Noor from Noor’s Place and here’s what she was curious to know! πŸ˜‰

Pinterest

Q1: If you could leave tomorrow with a one-way ticket, where would you go?
Ans 1: Boy, oh boy! I can’t choose this easily because I am always big on travelling! Though what instantly popped in my head was ‘Paris’, I would actually go to Turkey if I’m never to return.

Q2: What’s on the top of your wish list right now? and why?
Ans 2: Again, I wanted to say some sort of makeup but I would much rather wisely say a DSLR. For my blog’s photography obviously.

Q3: What’s the worst social media site in your point-of-view?
Ans 3: I use most of the popular ones and I am pretty much equally active everywhere, so they all do work for me. Looking at my own traffic stats though, I would say Pinterest. I need to work harder on it. In case anyone wants to follow me on Pinterest, here’s my link.

Q4: Which book do you consider being the best and everyone should read it?
Ans 4: Kite Runner undoubtedly.

Q5: Where do you see yourself in next 10 years?
Ans 5: This is kind of personal for a lot of reasons for me to answer. I just hope I will be done with my studies and still be blogging.

Q6: What freaks you out the most?
Ans 6: Early morning classes. The day should start at 10 AM. Not any earlier at any cost.

Q7: When do you feel the most comfortable?
Ans 7: On Friday nights.

Q8: Are you more of a dog person or a cat person?
Ans 8: I am not a pet person, but I could love both. πŸ™‚

Q9: What historical figures do you most despise?
Ans 9: Certainly the one who made exams compulsory. Such a waste of time and talent. A couple hours prove nothing.

Q10: What was the last song you heard?
Ans 10: Mehbooba by Haroon. πŸ˜› XD

Next I was tagged by Momina of Divine Smudge and here’s what she asked! ^_^

Fishtail Braid

Q1: What’s your best childhood memory?
Ans 1: Sleeping on my parents. I want to be mini again.

Q2: If you had to choose between hair styling or makeup what would you choose?
Ans 2: I’m more of a hair person.

Q3: What sort of books do you enjoy reading?
Ans 3: Light hearted comedy.

Q4: Live today or plan for tomorrow?
Ans 4: Live today. Tomorrow never comes.

Q5: How do you deal with academics and blogging altogether?
Ans 5: I try to sleep in between to restore my sanity. πŸ˜› Ha, I suck.

Q6. Messy bun or Neat braid?
Ans 6: Neat braid. So much more presentable and pulled together.

Q7: One beauty product that you consider a life saver?
Ans 7: Coconut oil.

Q8: What’s your favorite beauty product?
Ans 8: Scrub.

Q9: Your new year resolution? Do you actually follow your resolutions?
Ans 9: I don’t really do New Year Resolutions but if this counts, I am trying to do favourites post every month on my blog.

Q10: What do you wish to be better at?
Ans 10: Sounding wise.

Lastly, I was tagged by Ari from Flashes of Clarity and here are her questions! πŸ™‚

Yummy Food

Q1: Best city in the world?
Ans 1: Karachi. Very unbiasedly. One place where you can get it all, at any time and it never sleeps. If you have ever even had a glimpse of Karachi’s lifestyle, chances are you don’t want to look back.

Q2: Worst part about blogging?
Ans 2: It’s time-consuming. Especially, if you desire to put up quality content, but I love it nonetheless.

Q3: Favorite Social Medium?
Ans 3: Twitter. So much win.

Q4: How has blogging helped you as a person?
Ans 4: I am bolder than ever and I like being called a ‘blogger’. It just sounds so much satisfying. From a very young age, I knew I would end up as a writer and blogging turned out to be a fruitful platform. πŸ™‚

Q5: Second best thing to do if you couldn’t blog (for some odd reason)?
Ans 5: Cook. It’s no secret that I live to eat.

Q6: What tools/apps have helped you to β€œbeautify” your blog?
Ans 6: I haven’t used anything out of ordinary! Picmonkey, Photoshop, and CSS has managed to do wonders. πŸ˜‰

Q7: Why should readers read your blog?
Ans 7: I always try to make my posts relatable for masses. There’s always a story to go even with my reviews and by the end of it most of my readers find my posts either funny or enjoyable to read.

Q8: Best Ice Cream flavor?
Ans 8: Peshawari. Nothing beats it. NOTHING!! Come to Pakistan, you will be addicted.

Q9: Biggest Fear?
Ans 9: Losing people to death.

Q10: What’s your favorite inspiration quote?
Ans 10: Writing in Roman English so that it is readable. ‘Da cha? Pakhpala, gila ma kava da bala’. Translation/Meaning: ‘Who’s responsible? Myself, so no need to blame others’. This is a famous Pakhtoon/Pashtoon saying and it sounds very self-assuring in a weird way but it is always satisfying to sarcastically ‘ha’ and move on with life.

Thank you for tagging me all three of you lovely ladies! I enjoyed answering and here are my 10 questions for Mille, Nazira, Kirstie, Shehrzad, Anum, Ayesha and A’esha.

Q1: What are your pet peeves?
Q2: Do you like to keep some of your makeup on your vanity or all hidden away in drawers?
Q3: What are you grateful for today?
Q4: It’s 2AM, what are you up to?
Q5: What do you currently have on your phone’s look screen?
Q6: Are you an all time partier or homebody?
Q7: Who is your style crush?
Q8: What’s the colour of your shirt right now?
Q9: What’s your favourite street food?
Q10: How did you discover my blog?

Would love to read the answers of the people I have tagged! Waiting! πŸ˜‰

Kite Runner turned out to be better than my expectations. I haven't read this good a book in a really long time.

Let's fly to Turkey please. I so want to go on a cruise in Bosphorus!!

I have come across some very wise Pashtoon sayings! It's one of my favourite languages ever! <3

Craving Peshawari ice cream so badly and also gol gappay (my own favourite street food)! πŸ˜›

I have endured so much of this pain in the past few years of losing my loved ones. Really close family members, two within each alternating years. u_u

Anyway, seems like we are indeed quite alike and I have the bestest senior bloggers like you to encourage me time and again! πŸ™‚ Thank you so much for that. I love you! <3 And I mean it. My love yous might seem all over the place but they aren't free. I just keep the best of the best people (in an unmaterialistic and selfless way) around me and with them I act like one hell of an annoying girlfriend who just wouldn't stop showing affection. πŸ˜› Sorry! XP

Lastly girl, I feel you. I just answered these three collectively and guess what? I have been tagged back by three of the people I tagged! O_O Like whoa! I already have a long list of tags to go through! :'D I would love to know your answers to my questions (honestly, I would love to answer these myself! :P) and I didn't tag you because I thought somebody might have already tagged you and I didn't want to be annoying! πŸ™‚ But hey, you can answer my questions nonetheless. I ESPECIALLY tag YOU now! πŸ˜‰

p.s: Blame yourself for this long a reply. Once you poke the sleeping (read: talkative) dragon, this is what you get! πŸ˜› <3

I loved reading all your answers. I'm currently writing up my answers to your questions now.
Turkey is a lovely place, the people are so friendly too and not to mention the food. I went to Istanbul a few years ago and wouldn't mind going again.
That Ice cream flavour sound yum! I love the Ben & Jerry's Fish Food ice cream, it's too good.
I have the same biggest fear as you. I can't bear to think about it. Scares me!
I better get back to my work.
    Lovely reading your post πŸ™‚
