My Spring Nail Polish Wardrobe and 2 Nail Art Ideas | Spring Series Part 2

March 19, 2015

My Spring Nail Polish Wardrobe
Welcome to my second edition of Spring Series! ^_^ I’m overjoyed by the response my Spring Makeup Wardrobe got and I would like to thank you all for appreciating. So, in today’s post I’m sharing a few of my spring nail polish picks along with two easy nail art ideas. I had planned do three originally, but my unforgiving schedule didn’t allow me to and I did not want to delay this post any longer.

My go to nail polishes at the moment are; Primark Nail Polish, which is in a wonderful mint shade. I was gifted this by my sweet friend, Fariyal and I would go as far as saying that it is my absolute favourite nail polish shade ever and I am unable to find a dupe for it. If you know any, please let me know. Keeping up with the brights, my other go to spring/summer shade is Glamorous Face yellow nail polish. It is daring, but I love to pair it up. This was super cheap at 65 PKR and yet the quality is amazing. Next up, you guys already know that I love Sweet Touch England’s Bright Coral as it was featured in my February Favourites and I have done a post on it too. Moving on, how is it even possible for me to talk about nail polishes and not mention Color Studio? I mean their nail polishes are your best bet for the pricing and longevity they offer. For spring, the shades that I have picked from my own collection might not seem too appropriate but they are good for complimenting other colours. The first one is Star Struck, which I am another die-hard fan of. Again, even though this fine gold shimmery shade seems fairly common, I still find it tough to get hold of anything similar. Then I recently bought Eve’s Secret too and this is a stark white shade. Very basic but very good for layering, especially under the brights or neons. My other CSP favourite is Superman Blue and it’s not the girliest looking blue on earth so I feel tomboys would love this more or you can totally rock it on your toes as one of my readers suggested. You can check my review on this to see how it looks. Lastly, another one of a difficult to find nail polish is my off brand Chunky Fuschia Glitter polish that I came across in a random shop when I was in Okara. This was the only piece left and I am glad I bought it even if it was a bit thick and globby. I make it work by adding thinner and I need more of such chunky glitter polishes in my life.
Coral Sunset Nail Art

Coming to the nail art bit, I call the first one Coral Sunset and for this I used Sweet Touch’s Bright Coral as a base and then carefully dotted on CSP’s Star Struck to give a faux nail art bead effect.

Glitterati Nail Art

For my second nail art, called Glitterati, I used Primark’s mint green nail polish as a base and topped it with my chunky fuschia glitter polish. I love such combos for spring and if you remember, I got something similar on my toes a few weeks back at Coral Salon and Spa. If you are unable to find this type of polish, sprinkle on normal glitter. ๐Ÿ˜‰

What are your favourite spring polishes?
